Day 1: Arrive Colombo Airport – Dambulla/Habarana

Upon arrival at the Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be received warmly by our representative. From airport, you will straight drive to Dambulla / Habarana (140 Kms, 3 Hrs Drive). On arrival, check in at hotel.

In the afternoon you will explore Minneriya National Park: (The excursion will take approx: 2 hrs by Jeep) This National Park 8889 hectares in extent is famous for its large population of Elephants in herds of 100 to 150 roaming in the jungle and seen in the catchment area of the lake. Overnight at Hotel

Day 2: Dambulla/Habarana – Excursion to Polonnaruwa – Evening Sigiriya Rock Fortress

After breakfast you take an excursion to Polonnaruwa. This excursion will take approx 3 Hrs) Polonnaruwa, the 2nd most ancient kingdom of Sri Lanka is an interesting mix of Buddhist and Hindu structures that are a testament to the different kings who reigned over this ancient kingdom.

Afternoon take another excursion to Sigiriya: This excursion will take approx 3 hrs for climb and decent. Sigiriya is a “World Heritage Site” and the 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky” which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the Island.  Overnight at Hotel

Day 3: Dambulla/Habarana – Dambulla Cave Temple – Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast you take an excursion to Dambulla cave. This excursion will take approx 2 Hrs for climb and decent. Dambulla cave is a vast isolated rock mass 500 feet high and a mile around the base. 

Later visit Tea Production Factory: This excursion will take approx 30 minutes. Formerly Ceylon Tea is of high importance to the Sri Lankan economy and the world market. 

Afternoon drive to Nuwara Eliya (150 Kms, 4 Hrs). Nuwara Eliya, The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. Overnight at Hotel  

Day 4: Nuwara Eliya – Bentota

After breakfast visit Spice Garden, This excursion will take approx 30 minutes. You will see many spice gardens at Matale and in Mawanella on the Colombo-Kandy road where Cinnamon, Cardamom, Pepper Creepers and all other spice trees, plants and creepers are planted for visitors to see them. 

Later visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, App. 55 miles from Colombo, off the Colombo – Kandy road is Pinnawala, where an orphanage was started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. 

Afternoon drive to Bentota (210 Kms, 5 Hrs). On arrival check in at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel 

Day 5: Bentota

Breakfast at hotel and explore the city, The Madu River Lagoon is popularly known as the Madu Ganga. The town of Balapitiya which lies about 80km from Colombo is the waters-meet for the Madu Ganga. 

Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, where you can see five species of turtles-Green Turtles (Cheloniamydas), Hawksbill Turtle (Eretmochelysimbricata), Loggerhead Turtle (Carettacaretta), Leatherback Turtle (Dermochelyscoriacea) and Olive Ridley Turtle (Lepidochelysolivacea). Overnight at Hotel 

Day 6: Bentota:

Breakfast at Hotel and Full Day free for beach / personal activities. Overnight at Hotel 

Day 7: Bentota– Colombo – Back Home

Breakfast at hotel and drive to Colombo (85 Kms, 02 Hrs Drive), On arrival explore Colombo city – Colombo is the largest city and commercial capital of Sri Lanka. While on your city tour in Colombo you may visit famous places including Galle Face Green, the Viharamahadevi Park, National Museum, Twin World Trade Center towers, Old Parliament Building, Fort district, Independence Hall at Independence Square, and prominent Buddhist, Hindu, Islam and Christian places of worship. For shopping, you may visit Odel, House of Fashion, Beverly Street, Majestic City, Noritake, etc.

On time transfer to airport to board your flight to back home.
