Enchanting Jungle Safari

 

Day 1: Arrival Delhi:

On your arrival at Delhi International Airport you will be welcomed by your tour escort. You can find him easily as he will be there at the arrival lounge holding a placard of your name. After meet & greet transfer to your pre booked hotel. The rest of the day, if any, is at leisure to settle in, and recuperate from your international journey. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi:

Early breakfast and begin your city tour of Old Delhi with the Jama Masjid (India’s largest mosque). Take a rickshaw ride and explore the amazing narrow lanes and bazaars, visit Chandni Chowk, stop off at Asia’s biggest Spice market, and drive past the Red Fort. Later visit Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Take a drive past India Gate (War Memorial Arch), President’s House, Parliament House, and Government Secretariat Buildings. After lunch visit Bangla Sahib Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) and Mahatma Gandhi Museum. End your day with a visit to the Qutub Minar (tallest brick tower in the world). Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi – Jim Corbett:

Early breakfast and depart by road to Jim Corbett National Park. It is the oldest national park in India and famous for the Royal Bengal Tiger. On arrival check-in to your resort hotel and later proceed for the evening jeep safari. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 4 – Jim Corbett National Park:

Get ready to board the morning jeep safari vehicle to spot a variety of wildlife. After finishing AM safari return to the resort, breakfast and free time for leisure/nature walk. Later, return for the evening jeep safari for the national park. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 5: Jim Corbett – Delhi:

Early breakfast and return to Delhi by road. On arrival visit Akshardham Temple, Biggest temple of Delhi.  Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 6: Delhi – Agra:

After breakfast drive to Agra. On arrival visit the magnificent Agra Fort. Later, at sunset visit the extravagant monument Taj Mahal, entitled as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 7: Agra – Ranthambore:

After breakfast drive to Ranthambore National Park. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri – A desert capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar. On arrival check-in to the wildlife resort. Overnight stay at the wildlife resort.

Day 8: Ranthambore National Park:

Get ready to board the morning jeep safari vehicle. Safari will be with 06 seater shared open jeep with expert naturalist and driver who are well aware of all proximities of the national park to provide you the best wildlife safari experience. After finishing AM safari return to the resort, breakfast and free time for leisure, relax or enjoy resort activities like swimming pool, indoor/outdoor games etc. Ranthambore is one of the finest tiger reserves of India and considered the best place to spot a tiger in his own natural habitat. Afternoon jeep safari for the national park. Enjoy your evening at the resort. Overnight stay at the wildlife resort.

Day 9: Ranthambore – Jaipur:

After breakfast drive to Jaipur, known as The Pink City. On arrival at Jaipur check-in to hotel. Afternoon explore and enjoy shopping at Jaipur Market. Jaipur is famous for textiles, handmade jewellery, blue pottery and paintings which makes it a must visit shopping destination. Visit Birla Temple before returning to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 10: Jaipur:

Early breakfast and then begin your sightseeing at Amber Fort, which was the ancient capital of the state. Ascend the Fort on elephant back or by jeep. Inside this amazing Fort visit Diwan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas and Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors).  Afternoon tour of Jaipur – visit Jal Mahal (Water Palace), Maharaja’s City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Drive past Hawa Mahal and through the pink rose residential and business areas. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 11: Jaipur – Guwahati – Kaziranga:

After breakfast transfer to Jaipur airport to board a direct flight to Guwahati. From here we drive to Kaziranga National Park. Enjoy your evening at the resort. Overnight stay at the wildlife resort.

Day 12: Kaziranga National Park:

Get ready to board the morning jeep safari vehicle, searching for a family of Rhinos as well as spotting many wild animals, reptiles, and birds. After finishing AM safari return to the hotel, breakfast and free time for leisure, relax or enjoy activities. Afternoon jeep safari for the national park. Enjoy your evening at the resort. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 13: Kaziranga National Park:

Morning and afternoon jeep safaris are reserved for you. There are some other activities as well that you can participate in between the jeep safaris; visit local villages, take a walk through a rubber plantation, pay a visit to an Assam tea garden. But of course, the focus is ‘the wildlife’ and once you have taken all the sunset images you need, return to the resort for yet another delicious local dinner. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 14: Kaziranga – Guwahati – Kolkata:

Early breakfast and transfer to Guwahati airport to board a direct flight to Kolkata. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Kolkata.

Day 15: Kolkata – Sundarban:

After breakfast drive to Sundarban National Park – the largest estuarine mangrove forest in the world. On arrival check-in to the wildlife resort. After lunch explore the pristine waters of the surrounding lake with a fun-filled boat ride. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 16: Sundarban National Park:

Set out on an early morning boat cruise and get a chance to spot several animals including crocodiles, spotted deer, wild boars, snakes, water monitor lizards, different types of birds, and if you are lucky, the Royal Bengal Tiger. Being a forest with only the water-based connectivity to the outer world, the boat safari is the only way to explore this beautiful mangrove forest. Later, drive back to Kolkata and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Kolkata.

Day 17: Kolkata:

Early breakfast and begin your city tour of Kolkata (formerly Calcutta), with Mother Teresa’s Mission and Mother House. Next, visit the Jain Temple to admire its stunning architecture. A short car ride brings you to the famed University of Calcutta. Later, visit the Magen David Synagogue, one of the largest Jewish temples open for worship in the Asian Pacific. Enjoy time at Eden Gardens, the iconic cricket ground. Next make a stop at the Victoria Memorial, a museum that’s home to a vast collection of sculptures, manuscripts, paintings and other items from the time of British rule. Finally, make a stop for photos on the Howrah Bridge – the sixth largest cantilever bridge on earth—before returning to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 18: Kolkata – Back Home:

Breakfast at hotel. On time you will transfer to airport to board flight to back home.
